La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.
Action Mondiale d’Évangélisation (Québec) Inc is the name of the Québec incorporation of MissionGO

The thoughtful man therefore thinks of the afterlife, but only one throughout the history of mankind has triumphed over death; one who spoke with authority and simplicity of eternal life – Jesus Christ.
Aches and Praise Two Hundred & Eighty Seven
Dear friends,
Praise the Lord for His answers to prayer! In recent weeks I shared prayer requests for Adam Donley and a lady named Margaret. It was great to see Margaret at church on Sunday. She climbed more than a dozen stairs, wearing a boot on her foot and a smile on her face! She is recovering well from falling on stairs outside a couple of weeks ago. Here is an update on Adam (written by his mother, Kathryn), who was in a serious car accident last month in Pennsylvania:
“Our youngest son (20 y.o.) came home from the hospital on Friday night after a two-week stay. He’s adjusting well to being home, but I don’t think I fully understood how much care and help he would require. He is unable to bear weight at all on his right side, so he’s using a wheelchair and has to wear a back brace anytime that he’s in an upright position. He uses a hemi-walker to transfer into and out of the wheelchair. His doctors want 24/7 care for him. Pain is pretty much constant but thankfully, is not the 8 out of 10 that it used to be.”
Kathryn asks prayer for Adam’s pain to decrease at the same rate that doctors aggressively wean him from pain meds. Adam has appointments with neurology and orthopedics this week. Gregg, who was a missionary in the Middle East for many years returned there this week after helping a young pastor (A), who is working with Syrian refugees in Turkey. Pray for the new believers that he’s discipling and his co-worker (M) who had to flee to another city for safety and is desperately trying to get residence in another country for himself, his mother and sister.
Last week I wrote about the first of seven Christian doctrines that the late G. Christian Weiss examines in his book “The Heart of Missionary Theology,” based on 1 Timothy 2:1-8. After the apostle Paul calls on believers to pray for all people, he asserts that there is one God. As the prophet Isaiah wrote repeatedly, there is no other God besides Jehovah. Mr. Weiss stated: “The concept of monotheism demands the concept of the Christian mission. Since there is only one true God and only one Saviour and since there is no salvation or redemption outside of Him, people must be told the gospel of God’s love.”
Scripture for the weekend: “Turn to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.” Isaiah 45:22 (NASB)
Thought for the weekend: “Prayer is the secret weapon of the Christian. It’s like a missile that can be fired from anywhere to anywhere on Earth, travel at the speed of thought, and hit its target every time.” – Ron Dunn
