La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.
Action Mondiale d’Évangélisation (Québec) Inc is the name of the Québec incorporation of MissionGO

The thoughtful man therefore thinks of the afterlife, but only one throughout the history of mankind has triumphed over death; one who spoke with authority and simplicity of eternal life – Jesus Christ.
Aches and Praise Six Hundred & Twenty Seven
It’s the time of year when those who love warm weather are enjoying the last days (weeks?) of above average temperatures and those who love cold weather look forward to crisp air and activities that they have been unable to do for many months. Last week, Karen and I had the joy of holding Tessa, born on August 11th. She is receiving lots of attention from her sister, Hailey, and her parents, Candace and Richie. We thank the Lord for the six grandchildren that He has given us and pray that they will follow Him and serve Him all their days.
In studying the book of Job, Karen and I have seen that Job prayed for his children. In his Study Bible, Dr. David Jeremiah writes: “In biblical times, a large family was considered a sign of God’s blessing – the more kids, the more blessing. Job had 10 of them: seven sons and three daughters. From what we can tell, it was a good family. They gathered together on their ‘appointed days’ (most scholars believe this means the sons’ birthdays) to celebrate. And after every birthday party, Job – in this era before there were priests – would sanctify them by offering sacrifices for every one of his children (‘according to the number of them all’) and praying specifically for their purification.”
Thank you for praying for us and our family. We are grateful to the Lord for you and the ministry of evangelism and discipleship that He led us to more than 40 years ago. This month, Pastor Michel Martel, the speaker of “La Voix de l’Ēvangile” (“The Voice of the Gospel”) since 1984, is examining the experiences of Moses in our weekly radio programmes. If you are in southern Québec or northern New York, you can listen to his messages on Fridays at 11 pm and Saturdays at 11 am on CKZW – 1650 AM. The broadcasts are also on Mondays at 3 pm on WCHP – 760 AM and on the Internet at www.lavoixdelevangile.ca.
May all that we say and do bring glory to our risen Saviour!
Scripture for the weekend: “He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” Psalm 91:4 (NKJV)
