La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.
Action Mondiale d’Évangélisation (Québec) Inc is the name of the Québec incorporation of MissionGO

The thoughtful man therefore thinks of the afterlife, but only one throughout the history of mankind has triumphed over death; one who spoke with authority and simplicity of eternal life – Jesus Christ.
Aches and Praise Six Hundred & Seventeen
Today is a special day for Karen, as she celebrates her spiritual birthday. When she was seven years old, she asked God’s forgiveness for her sins and trusted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. We are grateful to the Lord for the families that He gave us, devoted to serving God.
This week, Karen and I are in Connecticut, which has a rich history of men and women who loved the Lord. We were blessed by a mid-week meeting at Christ Proclamation Church in Windsor, where our son-in-law, Richie, serves as an assistant pastor. In his Study Bible, Dr. David Jeremiah writes: “John Eldredge in The Journey of Desire writes: ‘We are at war, and the bloody battle is over our hearts. I am astounded how few Christians see this, how little they protect their hearts. We act as though we live in a sleepy little town during peacetime. We don’t. We live in the spiritual equivalent of a war-torn country. Act like it. Watch over your heart. Don’t let just anything in; don’t let it go just anywhere. What’s this going to do to my heart? is a question that I ask in every situation.
What would happen if we prayed every day, ‘O Lord God, help me measure my days and ask of everything I confront: What will this do to my heart?’”
Dr. Jeremiah observes: “An event that causes someone to seriously reflect on his or her life has a purpose. Everyone needs to take inventory regarding how they are spending their days. A day is like a dollar: it can be spent wisely or foolishly (Psalm 39:4), but once it is spent, it cannot be spent again.”
May we determine to ask the Lord to take control of our life and direct our steps, so that He will be glorified in us and that many will trust in Him. As one songwriter proclaimed, “To God be the glory! Great things He has done.”
Scripture for the weekend: “So teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 (NKJV)
Thought for the weekend: “If you wish to be disappointed, look at others; if you wish to be disheartened, look at yourself; if you wish to be encouraged, look to Jesus.” – Anonymous
