La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.
Action Mondiale d’Évangélisation (Québec) Inc is the name of the Québec incorporation of MissionGO

The thoughtful man therefore thinks of the afterlife, but only one throughout the history of mankind has triumphed over death; one who spoke with authority and simplicity of eternal life – Jesus Christ.

One of my favourite authors is Warren W. Wiersbe. On the back cover of his book entitled “The Strategy of Satan,” it says that he is “best known as a Bible teacher, author, and conference speaker. He has ministered in churches and conferences in Canada, Central and South America, Europe, and the United States. He has published more than 150 books and was awarded the Gold Medallion Lifetime Achievement Award by the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association.” According to the following website – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warren_W._Wiersbe – Wiersbe was born in East Chicago, Indiana. Reading that reminded me of visiting a supporting church in West Chicago, Illinois with Karen. By God’s grace, I have travelled to more than half of the states in the U.S.A. and met many wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ.
In our home church in Verdun, Karen and I have met people from many countries. At a gathering of ministers and Christian workers in Chateauguay on Monday, we met a man from Colombia. I told him that there are people from Colombia in our church, but I had never been there. The closest I got was when I went to Panama on a Missions trip in 1980.
In “The Strategy of Satan,” Dr. Wiersbe wrote: “Satan attacks God’s Word because God’s Word reveals God’s will.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your Law is within my heart. Psalm 40:8
Apart from the Word of God, we have no sure understanding of the will of God. The will of God is the expression of God’s love for us.
The counsel of the Lord stands forever, the plans of his heart from generation to generation. Psalm 33:11
God’s will comes from God’s heart. It is not an impersonal thing, but a very personal matter with the Lord. He has a personal understanding of each of his children – their natures, their names, their needs – and he tailors his plans accordingly.
God wants us to know his will.
The God of our fathers has appointed you to know His will. Acts 22:14
He also wants us to understand his will.
So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:17
He wants this understanding of his will to fill us and control us.
We have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Colossians 1:9
The result of all this is the believer doing the will of God from the heart. Ephesians 6:6
God’s will is not a duty; it is a delight.”
If you are not experiencing the peace of God, it may be that you have never asked God’s forgiveness for your sins. The Bible records the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, including His statement “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through Me” (John 14:6). Christ longs for us to confess our sins and commit our ways to Him. Then we will know His peace and delight to follow Him.
Scripture for the weekend: “The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” 1 John 2:17 (NASB)
By His grace,
