La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.
Action Mondiale d’Évangélisation (Québec) Inc is the name of the Québec incorporation of MissionGO

The thoughtful man therefore thinks of the afterlife, but only one throughout the history of mankind has triumphed over death; one who spoke with authority and simplicity of eternal life – Jesus Christ.
Aches and Praise Four Hundred & Sixty Five
This week I learned that a missionary friend went to be with the Lord and another brother in Christ was released from hospital after being treated for blood clots. Please pray for Karen Hock and her family, as they mourn the passing of Jim, who patiently endured Parkinson’s disease in recent years until a hospitalization ended with his passing. Jim and Karen served the Lord with Global Outreach Mission (now known as MissionGO) in France for many years before moving to Quebec. After returning to their native country – the United States of America – the Hocks continued to minister to many in music and Bible teaching.
Please pray for Tom Turley, who went through severe health challenges recently. He and his wife, Diana, served with Global Outreach Mission for many years in Brazil before returning to the USA. For the past few years, Tom has been the executive pastor of a church in Martinsburg, West Virginia – https://www.ibcwv.org/tom-turley.
Earlier this week I received a phone call from Norma, who retired two years ago, but continues to encourage people through phone calls and prayer. Norma is dedicated to helping people discover the abundant life that only Christ offers. Thanks to her phoning our office years ago, we have received literature in French and English that has been given to people in several countries. Please visit the website of Scripture Gift Mission to see the literature that is available in many languages: www.sgmcanada.ca.
Today is the birthday of a close friend and brother in Christ. I will not disclose his name because he does not enjoy public recognition, but I do want to thank the Lord for all that he does to help the ministry that the Lord has entrusted to Karen and me. I also want to thank each of you who stands with us in prayer and financial support. By God’s grace, the radio broadcasts of “La Voix de l’Ēvangile” (“The Voice of the Gospel”) are being broadcast on WCHP – 760 am – on Mondays at 3 p.m. and CKZW – 1650 am – on Fridays at 11 p.m. and Saturdays at 11 a.m., as well as in southern France and the Republic of Congo. To God be the glory – great things He has done and continues to do!
Scripture for the weekend: “Commit your works to the Lord, and your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3 (NASB)
Thought for the weekend: “Like weeds and thorns in a garden, the cares and distractions of this world can choke out the impact of God’s Word in our lives. If we’re not careful, we can become like barren trees, bearing no fruit. How eager have we been to focus on the Word of God lately?” – Clarence Johnson, from the January/February 2018 edition of “Israel My Glory” magazine, The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, Inc.
By His grace,
Steve
