La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.
Action Mondiale d’Évangélisation (Québec) Inc is the name of the Québec incorporation of MissionGO

The thoughtful man therefore thinks of the afterlife, but only one throughout the history of mankind has triumphed over death; one who spoke with authority and simplicity of eternal life – Jesus Christ.
Aches and Praise Five Hundred & Sixty Two
How was your week? I hope it has been filled with joy and blessings, as you look to the Lord to guide you and share His love with others. Last Saturday, Karen and I had the joy of being with family and friends at the wedding of our youngest daughter, Bethany. We thank the Lord for leading Bethany to a young man, Jon, who loves the Lord and is dedicated to serving Him.
During the reception, Karen and I had the privilege of sharing some reflections, including the following: “Before I started going out with Mom, I went to Europe with Operation Mobilization for fourteen months. It was a time when I met people from many countries and leaned about different cultures. When I was in England, I learned that the object that we call a flashlight is called a torch by the British folk.
While waiting for Mom to get some items in a dollar store last week, I started thinking about how the word ‘torch’ can be represented as an acrostic:
T – Trust in the Lord with all your heart – Proverbs 3:5
The late Warren Wiersbe, who was a pastor and Bible teacher for many years, wrote: ‘God keeps His promises when we obey His precepts, because our obedience prepares us to receive and enjoy what He has planned for us.
The will of God is revealed in the Word of God (Colossians 1:9-10), and the only way to know His will is to study His Word and obey it.’”
Lord willing, we will examine the second part of this acrostic next week.
Scripture for the weekend: “For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” Colossians 1:9-10 (NASB)
Thought for the weekend: “Did you ever stop to think that God is going to be as pleased to have you with Him in heaven as you are to be there?” – A. W. Tozer
