La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec is a vital part of the extensive radio work of MissionGO
which reaches into many French-speaking countries of the world. The broadcasts are recorded in the studio of the radio follow-up office in Châteauguay.
The ministry began in 1955 in the Back to the Bible Broadcast studios in Lincoln, Nebraska through a staff member who spoke French fluently and had a burden for the French-speaking people of the world. An office was soon established in Aix-en-Provence in France.
In 1974, an office was opened in Châteauguay, Québec, under the direction of MissionGO representatives, Clarence and Pearl Shelly. At the present time, the broadcasts are aired on one station in Montreal and one in Champlain, NY. Stephen Frank became the director of La Voix de l’Évangile, Québec in 2006. His wife, Karen, is also a representative of MissionGO.
The weekly French-language 15-minute broadcast features Pastor Michel Martel, a Québec evangelist who faithfully teaches the Word of God. Audio messages (in French only) are available on CDs at a reasonable cost as well as approximately 40 books in French on the Christian life.
Action Mondiale d’Évangélisation (Québec) Inc is the name of the Québec incorporation of MissionGO

The thoughtful man therefore thinks of the afterlife, but only one throughout the history of mankind has triumphed over death; one who spoke with authority and simplicity of eternal life – Jesus Christ.
Aches and Praise Two Hundred & Seventy Four
Dear friends,
Last Friday we received the very sad news that Alvin (Al) Voth, the Vice-President of Global Outreach Mission, lost his battle with tumours in his brain. The last time I saw Al was in October last year, at the annual meeting of the Board of Directors of Action Mondiale d’Évangélisation, which was held in the headquarters of Global Outreach Mission in Buffalo, N.Y. Al closed the meeting in prayer. He leaves a wonderful legacy of dedicated service to the Lord and others. We will miss his counsel and ask for your prayers for his widow, Sue, and family, as they mourn.
This was the third time in the past month that we have learned of the death of friends. Ken Crowe and David Selby were gifted men in Montreal who served the Lord for many years. They leave behind families who love the Lord and honour the memory of their loved ones by living wholeheartedly for Christ.
While visiting Karen’s uncle in Stratford, Ontario in October, we learned that he writes a devotional to encourage family members to draw close to the Lord. The “Thought for the weekend” is from one of his recent compositions. You can read his insights at: www.mbc.vpweb.ca under the heading “From my Heart to Yours”.
You may have heard that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump, was chosen as Time magazine’s “Person of the Year.” Without opening a debate on the merits of this selection, we can say, without hesitation, that what is most important in life is summarized by the following words of C.T. Studd: “Only one life, ’twill soon be past, only what’s done for Christ will last.”
Scripture for the weekend: “… whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”Matthew 20:26-28 (NASB)
